A recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (May 2011), I've come to Montevideo in search of my path in life. This will be part work focused with my internship, part adventure focused with my exploration of Uruguay.

 fun experience + good food 

On the corner of Joaquin de Salterain and Chana there is a little gomeria.  Despite it's size, however, this place is bumpin' at lunch time... four people cram into the little triangle space inside where you can order and watch the abuelita behind the counter work her magic, and everyone else waits outside on the sidewalk for there turn.  It's a fun lunch time experience and the food is great!  (I'll have to get back to you on the name of this place.)
