A recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (May 2011), I've come to Montevideo in search of my path in life. This will be part work focused with my internship, part adventure focused with my exploration of Uruguay.

On the weekends in Montevideo one can often hear the sounds of drums from the candombe groups that are playing through out the city.  Our first Sunday here they played later in the night.  Families living on Guaná came out of their balconies to watch and one woman on the forth floor just danced behind her curtains so you could only see her shadow moving.  It's a fun thing to experience.
