This blog entry is more about Bryn than me. This Saturday she ran the We Run Montevideo 2011 and placed 68th in her age division and 245th out of all women. There were over 10,000 runners that day! I went to with Bryn to the warm up to snap some pics of the race and the thousands of runners in their red shirts, and then, because it was such a cold cloudy day, I nestled into a window seat in a bookstore called Yenny to draw the spectators lined up along the Rambla and to wait for Bryn to circle back. I was surprised to find her already at our meeting point, a medal hung around her neck, after a little over an hour had gone by - Later we found out that she ran the 10k in 52 minutes!
